Places no one's heard of in Southeast Kansas and Central Missouri.

Creek.

2. The thing you push around the grocery store?
Shopping Cart.

3. A metal container to carry a meal in?
Lunch Box, though usually I had paper bags.

4. The thing that you cook bacon and eggs in?
Skillet

5. The piece of furniture that seats three people?
couch, davan.

6. The device on the outside of the house that carries rain off the roof?
Gutter.

7. The covered area outside a house where people sit in the evening?
Porch. If it's enclosed, patio.

8. Carbonated, sweetened, non-alcoholic beverages?
Pop.

9. A flat, round breakfast food served with syrup?
Pancake.

10. A long sandwich designed to be a whole meal in itself?
Submarine Sandwich.

11. The piece of clothing worn by men at the beach?
Swimming Trunks or Swim Shorts.

12. Shoes worn for sports?
Tennis Shoes.

13. Putting a room in order?
A Chore!

14. A flying insect that glows in the dark?
Fire Fly.

Pill Buy/ Roly-Poly.

See-saw.

Hold it, pointy end first. If it's a thick crust, I'll dip that.

Rummage Sale.

19. What's the evening meal?
Dinner.

20. The thing under a house where the furnace and perhaps a rec room are?
Basement. Spent a lot of time in a couple of those with a battery-powered radio when I was a kid.

An unusually heavy rain which does not last long.

Visiting Rummage sales and Garage sales:
Yard Saling.

The area in the house where people usually sit.
A place for just the people living in the house = Family room.
A place to entertain visitors = Living room.

A pot or device to slowly boil or cook food.
Crock Pot.
