Fun Saturday

kikikimiYesterday, I went downtown with Thumper's wife. She's even more crafty than I am! We first went to a quilting store, then to a jewelry store with lots of knick-knacks. We stopped by a Saks to get a drink of water, then went off to the market. It can be fun watching all those sweetgrass basket makers. They tell me it's a dying art...but there were so many people there doing it, as young about 14 years old.
I tried so hard not to buy anything, but I came home with a lucky bamboo and a grey stuffed toy poodle (it barks! It's in Keri's favorite stance!) The bamboo seems to be perking up this morning, so hopefully, it'll live for a while:)
Definitely got in a good walk the past couple of days. Jon and I really need to do that more often. Heh. Maybe we need more visitors.
